HaEun Kim / Kyla Kim

Based in Los Angeles and Korea, Kyla Kim is a contemporary artist whose work explores the relationship between nature and the human body. Drawing inspiration from fruits, flowers, and other organic forms, her practice reflects a deep interest in the symbolic and sensory beauty of natural matter. Through the creation of imagined utopias and dystopias, her work addresses themes of origin, transformation, and the boundary between reality and illusion. Influenced by mythology, the unconscious, and personal narrative, she constructs dreamlike visual worlds that question existence and identity. Since 2018, she has exhibited in both Korea and the United States.
